Parker - 26 Weeks

We are at 26 weeks...one more week until we are in our third trimester!!! I had my final cervical check this morning and my doc said I have graduated!!! Cervix looks good and we are "in the clear" when it comes to this issue and as of now they are not projecting any issues in the future!

So this was my one of my final visit with my perinatologist. We have an echocardiogram on the 21st and then that is all we have scheduled. This makes me sad, bc I love the staff and doctors at this office. I am also going to miss getting to see my little man every two weeks...most of the time in 3D. I have been spoiled. But I am really thankful to have had such a great team of people working with me and making sure my little guy is doing good!!

This morning I got some new shots of him and as usual he was moving all around! He did take a break to say "Peace"...guess this is a step up from the one finger gesture he gave us a few weeks ago!!

Todays Sale!!

So thanks to my friend Tiffanie, I am now addicted to seeing what todays sale is!! She told me about the sites Totsy.com and Zulily.com. I get emails daily from these sites letting me know what the daily sales are and sadly it is a highlight of my day!! I am actually pretty proud of myself as I have only purchased a few things so far....and these were things that Parker really wanted!!! (At least thats my story!!)
I have also done a good bit of damage on Etsy.com...pics of those items to come!!
This is for his trip to Cayman in July!!

16 weeks to go!

We are at 24 weeks! I got to see Parker at my visit with my Perinatologist on Monday and he is doing great! Obviously precious and the ultrasound tech even pointed out all the hair starting to grow on his little head! I am doing well too...I was at the Dr. for my 2nd to last cervical check and we are still long and closed...so great news!! Doc does not seem to think I am going to have any problems with my cervix...which is a huge relief!

We are heading to TEXAS in the morning!! I am going to Houston and Nederland for a weekend with family and friends! A nice long weekend to spend time with my aunts and cousins in nederland and catch up with high school and college friends in houston. I am very excited!! Wayne is going to Fort Worth and New Braunfels for his brothers bachelor party!! I am excited for him to have a weekend away with guys, drinks, the river and a concert. Its been awhile since he has had a weekend that didnt consist of baby furniture, paint colors, baby clothes, etc. I am not going to lie though...I keep giving him the "have fun, but be responsibe...your a dad now" speech!!

Well I am off to do laundry and start packing!!

23 Weeks

Parker is growing and growing and so is his mommy!! He is about 11 inches long and weighing in at around a pound! I promise to post pics of my bump soon. It is getting BIG! He is moving around like crazy and we are hoping that soon Wayne will be able to feel him from the outside!!

We have had a busy week. Waynes parents came in for a visit last Thursday and just left yesterday! We had a great time! Friday Jan and I went shopping and bought Parker a ton of cute new clothes and she even got me a few new things too! Saturday we went to NYC, it was their first visit there, so I played tour guide and I think I did pretty well!! Other than forgetting where the parking garage we parked in was!! We walked around Time Square, went to Ground Zero, Wall Street, Central Park, Battery Park and Statue of Liberty, 5th Avenue(of course!) and soaked in all we could in one day! My feet were killing me by the end of our visit!!

Sunday we went to the Iron Pigs Minor League game. It was alot of fun. We had been wanting to check out a game, they are one of the top minor league teams and their games sell out every week in a stadium that hold around 8900 people...pretty impressive for minor leagues!!

Monday night we headed to downtown Bethlehem, PA for Musikfest. Its a huge festival that last over a week and has hundreds of local bands that preform all day and a ton of huge performers too. We went and saw Lynyrd Skynyrd...which was a blast. We stood out like sore thumbs...some of the only ones there who didnt ride in on Harleys, and without tattoos and confederate flags!! But it sure did make for some interesting people watching, which happens to be one of my most favorite things to do!! Once the concert started, Parker was moving ALL over and flipping around. I could not tell if he was dancing or telling me to get him the heck out of there!!!

We had a great visit and they helped us to get so much done around the house as well. Yard work, moving furniture, helping paint test colors in the nursery, etc. ALL very much appreciated!!

Parkers furniture was delivered yesterday morning. We are still wating on the hutch that goes on top one of the dressers, but it is backordered until the first of October. Once the painters are done in his room and we can actually start setting up, I will take pics!

22 Weeks

This week Parker is the size of a Papaya and is weighing in at a little less than a pound! I got to see him this morning and he is doing great!!
I love these 3D pics of him...I know I am biased, but he is REALLY cute!!! I cannot stop staring at him.

We have quite a bit going on around our household this week!! Our painters have started on the outside painting of the house. The interior paint work will begin as soon as I can finalize a color for Parkers room. I have many samples on the wall, but I just have not found one that I love.
We should have new carpet in the upstairs in the next week or so and then Parkers furniture will be delivered!! I cannot wait to start setting his room up!!
Waynes parents are coming in this Thursday for a visit! We are so excited to have visitors and cannot wait for them to be here!!!
